Sarah grew up in Des Moines, Iowa, graduating AIB in 1995.  Her first reporting job was in Mason City, Iowa, with Harris Reporting.  In 1999, Sarah moved from Mason City and started her own freelance firm covering all of Iowa, and now, covering part of Missouri as well.  She has 10 kids with her husband, Brad.  They homeschool, pastor a church, and own Game On, LLC, in Centerville, Iowa.
