IOWA COURT REPORTERS ASSOCIATION |
I grew up in Jefferson, Iowa, and received an Associate of Arts degree from Ellsworth Community College. I then attended AIB College of Business and received an Associate of Arts degree in court reporting. I have worked as a freelance reporter in Indianapolis, Indiana; Sioux City, Council Bluffs and have been working out of Ames since the early eighties. I served nine years on the Iowa Board of Examiners of Shorthand Reporters and am now looking forward to serving on the ICRA board and helping with some of the issues that freelancers face in this state. I have one daughter, Laura. She and her husband and two young kids live in Atlanta, Georgia. Our time together here in Iowa and Georgia is the best time there is for a grandmother!
